These proposals explore ways to better utilise the large amount of urban space that car parks take up in a way that can benefit local residents. The proposed ideas are based on the formal qualities of a car park and were inspired by the ASDA car park in Bournemouth where people using the car park out of hours was deemed anti-social behaviour. The proposals were pitched to Bournemouth Borough Council who chose not to go ahead with the idea.
